Sam coming to get me

Joe making a snowman of his own

Katie and her very first made-it-all-by-myself snowman

Hershey eating the raisins and cookies off of Katie's very first snowman! HA! I was cracking up!!! He knocked the head off of Joe's snowman to get at the goodies. Everybody's got a their job, right?! Hershey figured his out pretty quick. ;-)

Were Joe and Katie upset with Hershey for demolishing their snowmen or were they laughing as hard as their momma?

Oh, they had moved on to other projects by then--I don't think they even noticed!

Alright, Becki!!!!

I'm so happy that you got your snow, and now I'm expecting you to send some my way. Jackson's actually old enough to play in it now and we're getting nothing around here. The state of Missouri keeps getting pelted with it ... all but the area we live in. We live directly beneath "the line"--you know, the line under which nothing comes but frigid temperatures and nothing to compensate for it, like all that beautiful white stuff you all just got. Now, where we lived last year we got a fair amount of snow, but the problem is, you see, that Jackson wasn't really old enough to play in it. And now that he is old enough, we live underneath "the line." It's horrid, I tell ya'. Simply horrid.

Oh Becki I was laughing so hard. I have been complaining as the snow will not quit here! We have over 3 ft and keeps coming. If I could send it your way I would just so I could hear and see your excitement.

Amy, all I can say is PRAY HARDER!!! Surrounding areas kept getting snow for the longest time, but not a single flake here. We apparently were just beyond "the line," too. The night before the big snow I prayed and BEGGED God, "Pleeeeeeeeeeese, God!!! Just one decent snowfall??? PULEEEEEZE???" I know the kids had been praying, too. Who's to say that it wasn't purely God's love for me and my kids that brought the wonderful weather?! Nobody else in town seemed to be very appreciative of it! ;-)

Sister Nowling, if you can figure out a way to get it to me, I'll take a fresh shipment once every week or two. And I promise to be equally excited each time. ;-)
