The Final Product!!!

Posted by cokelady

Okay!!! Here are some pictures of our house, before and after it's new paint job. It's sooooo satisfying to have finally COMPLETED something!!! It's hard to tell by the pictures what color of "red" it really is, but that's okay because it seems to change throughout the day according to the sunlight anyway. No matter. It's SO much better than BROWN!!! ~sigh~ Makes me so happy to be rid of that horrible, DRAB color -- the same color every other yellow brick home in town has. Now we're peculiar. :-)

So... what do you thihk?! I LOVE IT. Sooooo much brighter and clean and fresh looking. ~aaahhhhhh~ Feels so good to have that job behind us. Someday we'll get the paintind done out back, too. The house is completed, but we've got a fence and a shed yet to be done, as well as the trim on James' office. But that doesn't bother me in the least. I'm sooooooooo happy to have the HOUSE done! I actually enjoy pulling into the driveway now and being able to admire all of our hard work. :-)

Hector with his Dad. They are sooooooooo cute! I really can't think of anybody I enjoy being around more than I do this family, even when I can't understand what they're saying! Ha! They are just such wonderful, sweet, fun, godly people. And cute. :-)
The VERY HAPPY couple!

At the reception they played some crazy game where Hector had to try to "woo" Erika all over again, but he was behind her so she couldn't see him. From what Sam & Tammy could tell (it was all in Spanish, of course!) it was GREAT! Luis had to try to "woo" Keila as well -- they were trying to talk the girls into marrying them all over again or something like that. They said Luis was HILARIOUS and Keila about died when she finally turned around and saw Luis in his big afro and giant shades! How fun! Now really, isn't this how every wedding should be???

This is Luis & Keila, Hector's brother & sister-in-law. Luis is nothing but trouble, but Keila is soooooo sweet.

Wedding Pictures!

Hector & Erika Banuelos

were married on Saturday. I tried uploading several pictures, but I can only get this one on right now. I'll try to do some others separately. We were unable to attend the wedding ~sniff~sniff~ but our resident photographer (Sam) & Tammy were able to go, thus the pictures. :-)
